Westmont’s exciting history unfolds in each room of this 1872 second empire style home built by William L. Gregg. After the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, he established the Excelsior Brick Company which supplied bricks for the rebuilding of Chicago. During your visit you can step back into the Victorian era while visiting the parlor. Also, relive the 1920s and 1930s in our kitchen and dining areas.
