Museums at Lisle Station Park

The roots of Lisle are still alive at The Museums at Lisle Station Park!
The Museums at Lisle Station Park provide visitors the opportunity to learn about the heritage and culture of 19th century Northern Illinois.
A partnership between Lisle Park District, Lisle Heritage Society, and the Village of Lisle, we remain committed to preserving and interpreting Lisle's rich history through exhibits and programs. Buildings include the 1840s Beaubien Tavern, 1850s Netzley/Yender Farmhouse, Blacksmith Shop, a Burlington Railroad Waycar, and the historic Lisle Depot.
Here are some of our favorite programs and events:
  • Kids Time
    • Families are welcome to a free story-and-a-craft co-hosted by the Lisle Public Library on Saturday mornings throughout the year.
  • Chicago Author Series
    • Free, thought-provoking conversation about the history and culture of our region with the authors who write about it. Every Saturday in February and October starting at 1 pm.
  • Depot Days and Once Upon A Christmas
    • These free traditional family events feature food, hayrides, pioneer demonstrations, old-fashioned games, model trains, brick oven baking, and more.
  • Memorial Day Picnic and July 4th Ice Cream Social
    • Stop by after the parades and celebrations for food, tours, and woodworking and blacksmith demonstrations.
